Taken over in 2007 by 4Sqaure Wholesale Limited, the Thirsty Drinks brand has been re-launched, changing the name of the flagship product, Thirsty, to Thirsty Original, whilst also bringing to market a portfolio of new drinks: Thirsty Clear (flavoured water), Thirsty Splash (plain water), and a new juice range by the name of Essential Fruit a Day(100% orange and apple juice). This, however, is only the beginning...
4Square Wholesale has two main business activities, production and distribution of own brand soft drinks i.e. Thirsty/Thirsty Clear/Essential and their delivered operation cater for Third party brands likes of coca cola/pepsi etc to the trade.

Indeed, as one of the most innovative and quality lead companies within the soft drinks sector, Thirsty Drinks is always looking to develop new and exciting products. Thirsty Original, 500ml drinks in four tempting flavours - orange, blackcurrant, kiwi and lemon, and raspberry - set the tone, but the company is now working on a number of new concepts, including a new range of five a day approved juices (Essential Fruit a Day) without any preservatives or added sugar. These will be launched in January 2009, with Thirsty Drinks also looking to launch an authentic mango juice in a 330ml format at around the same time.

Thirsty Drinks is renowned throughout the industry for its superior products and fast, friendly customer service. This has resulted in a lot of brand loyalty, which will help the company to continue to grow despite the current economic challenges. In fact, its new preservative-free product ranges fit all of the requirements for schools, an area of business that the company can see tremendous potential growth in.

Operating out of the 30,000 ft.² facility in Manchester, Thirsty Drinks is particularly strong within the wholesale sector, with its delivered wholesale arm operating in catering sector supplying the top brands including coca cola , pepsi and redbull and its customer base ranges form supplying to blue-chip firms such as Bookers Cash & Carry to independent wholesale accounts and is now looking to introduce its new range of packed juices into the catering and retail sectors, the latter through the major multiples.

As with every business in the UK at the moment, business is not easy. As far as Thirsty Drinks is concerned though, this is not only because of the credit crunch, but also because the country has not seen a decent summer in three years! However, a high quality, well-priced product such as Thirsty and Essential will always attract those looking for value for money and quality with point of difference.
